Being a mother is the hardest job in the world. Being a mom to my two amazing boys at home, while missing my son who died, is even more challenging. As Mother’s Day approaches, I’m reminded again of his loss but also of the beautiful ways in which he continues to inspire me.
This year, I want nothing but to support the moms at SickKids through their Get Better Gifts program which includes gifts of a glider chair like the place I rocked Zack for the first time and hand molds like those we made for Zack on his last day.
So many moms inspired me throughout my journey as Zack’s mom.
