Looking for Sponsors for an information fair for Parents of Special Needs Children

Our Zackie receives many of his therapies at the Oak Ridges location of CTN.  This organization has always tried to reach out to parents who need resources and support.

The Children’s Treatment Network (CTN)  is hosting a Family Fair with over 50 vendors on May 18th.  Families with children who have special needs will receive a gift bag with offers, coupons and information on where to find resources for your child.

Children’s Treatment Network of Simcoe York (CTN) is a new way of providing care for kids in York Region with special physical, developmental and communications needs. The Network removes many barriers that parents face by providing one point of contact for a single plan of coordinated care for children and youth with multiple disabilities.  CTN coordinates services needed to help kids with special needs to take part in daily living, school and play. We bring together regional health care, recreation, education, social and community services to develop a long term plan of care.

On May 18th from 3pm-8pm, at the York Regional Police Community Safety Village, the Network and our partners in York Region are hosting an information fair for parents and providers who are caring for kids with special needs in the Region. We anticipate that over 500 families will attend to see the information displayed by over 50 programs and agencies. Each person will receive a free tote bag to carry the information they collect.

In addition to the program and service information, we would like to add some promotional items, samples, gift certificates or coupons to the bags. Would you please consider providing such an item for the tote bag, or for door prizes? We think this is a great opportunity for you to promote your company with a group of people who deserve the best from our communities!

Please contact me at heatherhamilton@rogers.com if you can provide an item, and we can arrange to pick it up.
Thank you very much for your consideration, on behalf of the York Region CTN partners.
