It’s nothing new to hear me talk about Elmo and how much he has impacted our family and our life but now he gives me another reason to smile.
Asking me to test the newest Elmo to hit the shelves was a no brainer!
Asking me to be a Hasbro Brand Ambassador? An honour!
We have collected Elmo dolls for years now and I’m proud to say that I have some that even pre-date the Tickle-Me-Elmo! They light up, make silly noises, say “Elmo Loves You”, giggle or even sing, but the new Playskool Sesame Street LOL Elmo is one of my NEW favourites AND it is a new PTPA winner!
I only wish that I could give this to Zackie for Christmas this year!
Elmo has come a long way since his debut way back when! The new LOL Elmo has been on the top of the Holiday lists for months now and we got a kick out of it at home. We all know that Elmo loves to giggle and be tickled…but when you hold his little red foot, he tells great jokes too! Jayden and Ty loved to beat him to the punch line!
There are several ways to make LOL Elmo laugh like pressing his feet, tickling his tummy or squeezing Dorothy’s fishbowl close to his belly. The more you tickle or squeak him, the more Elmo laughs and jiggles!!

Syona LOVES Elmo…and I love that this toy seems like it is so accessible. This is one toy that I think she could play with in a functional type of way, despite her motor issues. I’m pretty sure she’ll be including it in her letter to Santa this year 🙂

November 24, 2012 at 2:58 am (11 years ago)The reason my son and I love Elmo is because he is such a loving monster. He’s all about the LOVE! I think maybe that’s why he is red. Red is usually associated with love (ie, Valentine’s Day, hearts…). My son loves Elmo’s World so much, he sings his theme song when it starts. I even dressed up as Elmo for Halloween this year!

My son loves Elmo and I love Elmo simply because he seems to have the magic powers to make any ouchie go away and is able to replace the tears on my son’s face with uncontrollable giggles.

When he came out he was so expensive that I couldn’t afford him. A guy I was talking to from the BBS world (pre-Internet). I had mentioned it off topic I wanted it. He surprised me with one – I had never met him before. Since tht time and for that reason I will always love Elmo.

I actually put him on my Christmas list years ago…but no one got one for me…something about me being in my forties? I have a few toddlers on my list and it would give me great pleasure to pass Elmo along to one of them. After we hang out for a little while together. 🙂

He has been with my children through a lot of their life stages: potty training, a new sibling etc. He obviously made your Zackie happy and he does the same for millions of children around the world. I have 4 children, 3 of which have loved Elmo. My 2 year old is still in love with Elmo. We just brought home a new little one 3 months ago. I’d love to have LOL Elmo as a join gift for both of my girls. I’d love to watch my 2 year old show Elmo to her baby sister for the first time and watch both their faces light up! Thank you!
