My Club House Faves- a recipe for everything!

I have been a fan of Club House Mesquite marinade for a long time now…so I already had a section in my cupboard for these “secret weapons” to SPICE up my dinners!  I was so excited to receive a box of new packages and seasonings to try with my family.

Here’s a few things I learned while experimenting with Club House;
a. I’m not a bad cook, with a little help and inspiration.
b. Healthy meals can also be quick and easy.
c. My kids will actually EAT what I make.
d. Left overs ROCK for school lunches
e. The instructions on the back of the Club House recipe mixes require me to wear reading glasses (OY).

My first cooking experiment started last week when I bought a pack of chicken legs and I needed some inspiration on how to prepare them…what better time than to try one of the Flavourful Recipe Mixes!  I had been eyeing these on the grocery shelves for months, but never actually bought them (not sure why, when I buy several other Club House products).  I was so thrilled to receive a box full of fun seasonings to try and I loved sharing some of them with my neighbours for them to enjoy!

The Herbes de Provence is what I decided to use, since it had fewer ingredients and ones that I always have on hand….dijon, oil, wine.  My only criticism was that I had to share MY wine!!

The smell that took over my house was amazing and it was so easy to prepare!  In one bowl (or even in a huge zip loc bag), you combine the ingredients and the chicken and potatoes.  Coat the chicken and potatoes with the mariade and dump on a lined cookie sheet. Our mouths were watering with the look of the chicken and potatoes as they baked in the mix.  When we finally sat down to eat our dinner, the meal was devoured and the kids and I fell in love with these flavours.  I would absolutely make this for guests with different pieces of chicken and more roast potatoes.  Clean up was a cinch, with this one pan meal!

Here are some of my other favourite products from Club House:

1.  Growing up I loved Yorkshire puddings with roasts, and now my boys are addicted!  I have actually never made them from scratch, I really rely and trust the Club House package that makes them perfectly plump everytime!

2.  Gravy!  What is better to complete any meal?  My kids are huge “dippers”, so they love gravy with all meats.  The best part of Club House is that they are now made with 25% less salt- which is good for all of us!  You can even SAVE right now with a printable Buy 2 gravies, get 1 flavourful mix free coupon!

3.  Tacos are a weekly meal in our house and I actually prefer the Club House Taco seasoning to the others.  My family loves to create their own tacos with the toppings on the table and make a huge mess while they eat this delicious and simple meal!

4.  I JUST realized how awesome a slow cooker can be….so I keep a stash of all the best seasonings to make a one pot meal that cooks all day!  My favourites is slow cooker pot roast (since I am not great at cooking a real roast in the oven, this is a huge hit in my house with Yorkshire pudding).

5.  Butter Chicken rocks!  I’ve tried several sauces that come in jars and never really gotten an authentic Indian flavour.  When I tried the Club House Butter Chicken package- I fell in love!

Not only do I have a happy family who enjoy trying new things…but I’m inspired and motivated to try more simple, healthy and delicious meals with Club House!

I need help when it comes to cooking and think this might be the way to improve my skills. I could use their taco seasoning in my taco soup from now on. Now that I have seen so many different flavours I am going to look closer when I do to the store to see what I can whip up for supper.

I was looking around at the recipes, and I would say that the Herbes de Provence Chicken with Apple Cider looks amazing. We love a lot of flavour around here and we like to control what we eat. This recipe looks yummy and good for you! A perfect combo.

(I might try subbing light sour cream for the whipping cream to knock out a few calories.)

Hi just wanted to give you a quick heads up and let you know a few of the pictures
aren’t loading correctly. I’m not sure why but
I think its a linking issue. I’ve tried it in two different internet browsers and both show the same results.
